Purple washed over orange and yellow, the sun setting behind Republic city was a beautiful sight Kitsune had missed deeply. Her amber eyes diverted to the statue of Avatar Aang, a memorial sent from her home capital in the Fire Nation, and she sighed, "It's been two years...has Republic city changed in my absence?" Kitsune had left prior due to her Pilgrimage, but before then she had lived at the Air Temple with Tenzin, whoms family welcomed her graciously. After all the heartbreaking events leading up to her departure, Kitsune hopes she can start anew and put her dreadful past behind her, "Let my hands, and conscious, be clean of my sin....."
♦H i s t o r y :
Kitsune was born in the Fire Nation in a lone Priestess Shrine. Orphaned at birth, the shrine walls were her home and the teachings were her soul. Here, she received excellent education, and learned the traditional dance ceremonies performed by the Priestesses. Outside the temple she began to learn fire-bending, but was unsatisfied with their fighting-style. At the age of 18 she left for Republic city and met Tenzin, whom became an authority figure to her and taught her further into the art of mediation and harmony. She then developed a personal style of ritual dance infused with her fighting arts and got caught into the probending crowd. Tenzin didn't support this, but since he was neither her father or guardian, he respected her choice. Kitsune and her group, Red Dragons, led a successful career in the probending arena for three years, but before a final match for the championship winner, their waterbender was found dead. Since Kitsune and the waterbender were known to be 'involved' she was immediately framed for the murder. The trial was a huge controversy but most information was locked down by Police force. Tenzin had warned Kitsune of possible Triple Triad work with probending before she joined, and now all he could do was shake his head in disappoint, even though she'd gotten a Not Guilty verdict. Hating herself for what happened, Kitsune left Republic City on a Pilgrimage to visit every nation and seek inner-peace. Now she returns to her painful past.
